" I can say without any hesitation that this is by far my favourite book of the series so far, several times it had me turning pages like a madwoman, and to leave it on that cliffhanger!!!! so so glad there are going to be 4 more books in the series! " - Jordana, They never did explain why Claire could see the Draug and no one else could. It was interesting to get some chapters from Amelie's perspective. I'm still waiting for Claire and Myrnin to hook up, though it's probably never going to happen. There wasn't far enough Myrnin time in this book.

The rest of the book was good but I think that was the best part of the book. Like always Claire was the one who got into trouble and she ended up dead but of Mernin is the one who saves her and lets her choose what she wants to do and that relationship is more like a farther and daughter and I like that a lot. "Okay this is book 11 and I loved that Rachel Caine kept up with the last book and showed us more through the eyes of other characters. But is he a vampire-or something else entirely?
